The B.S. in Anthropology degree program is designed to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills required for entry-level positions in the social science professions. It also provides the knowledge and skills required for entry into graduate anthropology programs. These skills include critical analysis, problem solving, understanding and explaining cultural diversity, and to a full participation in public affairs.
We offer a bachelor of science degree in anthropology, a second degree in anthropology, and two minors. We are a growing, research-oriented faculty with a thematic focus on human evolution and ecology. The department is committed to applying the scientific method to understanding the behavior, ecology, social relations, and sustained resource use of our species.
