RESEARCH INTERESTS

Behavioral and Evolutionary Ecology, past diet reconstruction, Archaeobotany, Paleoethnobotany, starch grain analysis, Hunter-Gatherers, the evolution of fire use, primate foraging strategies. Geographical areas of interest: northeastern California and the Great Basin, east and southern Africa.
